Our company supports DX (Digital Transformation) in the manufacturing industry.
Japan's manufacturing sector faces major challenges including "intensifying international competition" and "labor shortages,"
and there is a pressing need to improve productivity through digital adoption.
At the same time, I have witnessed firsthand that even Japan's most prominent large companies have yet to advance digital adoption on the factory floor.
Having met with many companies over the years, I believe the reason DX stalls can be summed up in one phrase:
it's because of "not knowing."
